Reflections

Two score and three years ago I came into being. The scale of time extends to infinity in both directions. We all have a finite time here to live, contribute and prosper. The current situation only accentuates further the fragility of our lives. 

Looking back on my journey one constant that I find is an aspiration to learn and understand. I can come to terms with a thought that I do not have the answers. What I find harder is to give up the quest to understand and live a more meaningful life. 

 This quest has taken me across oceans, changed the direction of my life innumerable times. Led me to commit some atrocious mistakes and errors of judgement. I have fallen flat on my face. I have also received help and support for which I was not worthy. I have been fortunate to be among friends no matter where I was, 

 In this moment of reflection I would like to share a few themes that have guided me

1. Dream Big
2. Make it real 
3. When you get there there is no there there
4. Enjoy the moment and the process
5. Leave things better than you found them
