Poem: Viewer Actor Spectator

The scene and viewer
Viewer part of a scene
unseen forces shape the dream
Viewer starts to act
At first tentatively
Then more assured of acquired skill
At the turn of plot
The actor waits in the wing
Staring at darkness and light
So he conjures up a story
And starts acting like a viewer
And practices incessantly to be silent spectator
So when his cue comes again
He has perfected the craft
Of being a viewer actor spectator
