Dwelling (revised)

Lodge by pond is frail and old
Damp in rains, in winters cold
Members of its once prime cast
Are faded memories from the past

Outdoors is yet alive and young
Wilderness has spread and sprung
Vines weave walls like a suture
Hope endures in an uncertain future
